Your role
As a mechanic with us, you become part of a varied workplace consisting of both shift and day personnel. You will work primarily on preventive and corrective maintenance on crushers, ore passes, conveyors, and chutes. A large part of the work involves troubleshooting, improvements, and repairs of the mine's hoisting systems, both in the field and in our workshops. You collaborate closely with production and maintenance personnel and follow LKAB's procedures for safe and efficient work.
What you bring
You are collaboration-oriented and enjoy working together with others to achieve common goals. With strong responsibility, you drive your tasks forward. You are engaged, take initiative, and see opportunities for improvements. At the same time, you are flexible and adapt to changing circumstances.
You also have:
· Completed upper secondary education, preferably from an industrial technology program or similar
· Strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
· B-class driver's license for manual transmission
· Experience in mechanics and/or welding
Meritorious
· Experience working with crushers, ore passes, and/or conveyors
· Knowledge of welding and hydraulics
· Familiarity with the mine and/or the workplace
