About the Position As a mechanic in Lindab Byggpartner's maintenance department, you will work with all types of mechanical work in industrial production. The role is broad and varied, focusing on ensuring reliable and efficient production through both preventative and corrective maintenance. You will work with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production equipment and participate in process improvements and development initiatives. The work also includes installation, assembly, and commissioning of new equipment in connection with investments and modifications to machinery and production lines. The operation is currently in an exciting development phase with several ongoing and planned investment projects, where you'll have the opportunity to be involved from idea to finished solution. Your main work tasks include: Troubleshooting and repair of production equipment, sensors, and control systems Preventative and corrective maintenance Installation and commissioning of new equipment Reporting maintenance activities in MaintMaster Participation in improvement and development projects Assembly and modification of machinery and production lines Work is conducted during daytime. Over time, shift work or on-call duties may occur depending on production needs. About You Formal Qualifications We're looking for someone with upper secondary education in a technical or industrial program and at least two years of documented experience as a mechanic or in a similar role in industrial maintenance. You have good experience with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production equipment in an industrial environment and experience working structured and independently in a manufacturing operation. A valid driver's license (Class B) is required. It's an advantage if you have experience with hydraulics and pneumatics, as well as knowledge of machining and welding. Experience with reporting and planning work within maintenance is also valuable. If you have certification for forklift, chain hoist, or scissor and boom lift operation, that's an extra plus.
