MECHANIC DAY SHIFT - Temporary Position

Kubikenborg Aluminium AB is Sweden's only producer of primary aluminum and is one of the largest industrial companies in Sundsvall. The factory was built in 1942 and has the capacity to produce 130,000 tons of aluminum per year. The finished product, consisting of ingots, is delivered to pressing and rolling mills throughout Europe. Kubal currently has 460 employees. We are looking for someone who is trained as a maintenance mechanic or has similar work experience, preferably from manufacturing/process industry. Experience or education at upper secondary school level or equivalent. You are accustomed to working preventatively and have a quality-focused approach to work. As a person, you are service-oriented, proactive, and flexible. You are driven by developing both yourself and the company, and you have good teamwork skills. Good physical fitness is required for the position, as the work may involve working at heights. Being thorough, problem-solving, and good at identifying opportunities and improvements are highly valued qualities. Good communication skills are essential, both in Swedish and English, spoken and written. We expect you to be proficient with computers. Main responsibilities: · Perform maintenance work on a safe and efficient basis, including both preventative and corrective maintenance · Conduct condition inspections of equipment · Work with 5S to maintain good order and organization within your work area · Professionally perform equipment installation · Work with the Maintenance System with reporting according to work order flow · Actively participate in root cause analyses The position requires basic welding skills, and it is also a merit if you have hydraulics knowledge. Experience or knowledge of pneumatics is a plus. The position is day shift and full-time, starting immediately.
