About the role: We are seeking a day-shift mechanic for the maintenance department. Work is performed in the Pulp Bleaching and Dryer Machine departments. The main tasks consist of repair work on machinery equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, and other process equipment. This position is directly supervised by the departmental supervisor. Scheduled on-call weekend duty is part of the position.
What are we looking for?
You should have mechanical training at the upper secondary school level or equivalent experience. Experience in process industry is meritorious, as is experience with laser alignment, bearing replacement, and/or repair welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
To succeed in this role, you are professionally skilled, thorough, and enjoy problem-solving. You are independent in your work but appreciate collaboration and have good interpersonal skills. We place great importance on your personal qualities and are seeking someone who is responsible and has the drive to develop both professionally and personally.
