WORK RESPONSIBILITIES What does the role entail? Vida Vislanda is now seeking an experienced mechanic who wants to work close to production and contribute to high availability at our sawmill. As a mechanic, you will be an important part of our maintenance team, and you will work with both preventive and corrective maintenance. The work includes troubleshooting, repairs, lubrication, mechanical improvements, and inspections of machines and equipment. The role suits you if you are looking for independent work where you can take responsibility, prioritize, and solve practical problems when production needs support. The position involves 2-shift work. QUALIFICATIONS Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is confident in your role as a mechanic and has previous experience with industrial maintenance. You need to be practical, thorough, and experienced in working solution-oriented, even when the pace is high, and not afraid to get your hands dirty if needed. We would like to see that you have experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machines in manufacturing or process industry. The work consists of preventive maintenance and emergency repairs, component replacement, repairs, and certain work in your own workshop. The systematic maintenance work is continuously documented in our maintenance system. Personal qualities are highly valued. We see that you are a responsible and unpretentious person who gets along well with colleagues, both in maintenance and production. For us, it is important that you want to contribute to order and cleanliness, safe work practices, continuous improvements, and contribute to a positive atmosphere. A valid driver's license is a requirement. You also need to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Employment type: Permanent position.
