The On-Site IT/MT Gällivare Unit is part of the Digital Operations Support & MT business area, which delivers daily IT and MT operations to Region Norrbotten's various healthcare facilities. You will work in a team with various professionals such as other MT engineers/technicians and IT technicians. The team's primary tasks are to closely support other operations with efficient and patient-safe IT and MT support. We are Looking For We are looking for someone with a technical gymnasium education or other education that, combined with work experience, can be assessed as equivalent. It is a merit if you have an engineering degree at university level, experience with biomedical technology and IT, as well as practical service work in healthcare. Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, as well as a Class B driver's license, are requirements. Since we work closely with healthcare operations and are in daily contact with our customers, we are looking for someone who is service-oriented and collaborative. In healthcare settings, you demonstrate good judgment and act, communicate, and make decisions in a considerate manner. You can independently plan and carry out your work, have an eye for order and organization, but can also adapt to changing circumstances. What You Will Work With MT engineers/technicians are responsible for the operation of biomedical equipment throughout Region Norrbotten. The work encompasses the entire lifecycle – procurement, maintenance, troubleshooting, and decommissioning – in areas such as dialysis, intensive and emergency care, surgery, laboratory medicine, and radiology. Practical maintenance and troubleshooting work is combined with assisting other functions with technical expertise in development projects and procurements. You actively participate in developing our operations in close collaboration with healthcare, and work is always conducted in accordance with applicable regulations. The position is located at Gällivare Hospital. Travel within the region occurs, primarily to health centers in the municipality but also to hospitals in other locations. Product training and skills development from our suppliers occur continuously during employment, sometimes also outside the Nordic region. Working hours are scheduled for daytime, Monday - Friday. Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
