Dialysis is an exciting field that is constantly evolving, where the interplay between medical technology and patient care is crucial. With us, chronically ill kidney patients receive regular hemodialysis treatment. We also treat patients with acute kidney failure. To provide the best possible care for our patients, we work closely together—nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, paramedics, and biomedical equipment technicians.
Our operations are physically divided between two dialysis units, with one biomedical equipment technician stationed at each unit, working collaboratively with each other.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a biomedical equipment technician with us, you are an important support to our care team. You perform maintenance and enable efforts that impact many patients. We're looking for someone who finds joy in working with interesting technology that makes a direct difference in healthcare.
You are responsible for the operation and maintenance of our dialysis machines and water purification systems. The work is varied and includes everything from hands-on technical engineering work to preventive and emergency maintenance.
The role also includes participating in procurement and installation of medical equipment as well as overseeing quality assurance. As our operations increase digitalization, you will work significantly with IT in this role. This position offers excellent opportunities for professional development within the dialysis field.

QUALIFICATIONS
We're looking for someone with a degree as a biomedical technician engineer or technical college engineer, or equivalent education/professional experience we consider suitable for the position. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. We also value good practical skills, as hands-on technical work is part of the role. We prefer candidates with experience in medical technology work within dialysis operations. Previous experience with IT, data, and electronics is a plus. Experience with public procurement and project management is also valued.
