Psychiatry Northwest is a university clinic in the northwestern part of Stockholm County's healthcare region (SLSO). The clinic provides specialist-level psychiatric care in outpatient and inpatient settings and has approximately 450 employees. Psychiatry Northwest's inpatient care section consists of five care units, three located at Danderyd Hospital and two at St. Göran Hospital, as well as the Brain Stimulation Unit. We also currently support two psychosis units at Danderyd Hospital. We are seeking someone to work as a medical secretary in inpatient care based at Danderyd Hospital. At Danderyd Hospital, our psychiatric units care for patients with depression, severe anxiety disorders, and patients with suicidal ideation. The units have doctors, nursing staff, and paramedical personnel, and as a medical secretary you will collaborate with all of them. You will also collaborate with counterparts at our two units located at St. Göran Hospital to ensure that important administrative work functions well across the entire inpatient care organization. You will have varied work tasks, but a large and important part involves LPT and ÖPT management, which consists of monitoring deadlines for patients cared for under the Compulsory Psychiatric Care Act (LPT) and maintaining close collaboration with responsible senior physicians and the Administrative Court, which is the deciding authority. Other work tasks may include transcribing dictation, diagnosis and KVÅ registrations, billing, and mail handling. Experience with archiving is desirable. Qualifications We are seeking someone trained as a medical secretary with good knowledge of the Swedish language and good skills in TakeCare, as well as administrative experience. Additionally, it is advantageous if you have previous experience with the Compulsory Psychiatric Care Act (LPT).
