Medical Secretary at the Rheumatology Clinic

The Rheumatology Clinic is one of several operations within the Heart, Neurology and Rehabilitation department. Our operations are conducted at Remonthagen, located approximately 2 km from Östersund Hospital. At Östersund Rehab Center there is also a rehabilitation ward, outpatient rehabilitation and a pain unit. The Rheumatology Clinic is a specialist clinic for the investigation, care and treatment of patients with confirmed or suspected rheumatic inflammatory disease. The unit consists of extensive outpatient operations and has access to inpatient beds in the rehabilitation ward if needed. Our operations consist of a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, occupational therapist, physiotherapists, social worker, medical secretaries and laboratory assistant. Outpatient care is provided in the form of individual visits, day care and some group activities. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a medical secretary with us, you will be part of a team consisting of four medical secretaries. Work as a medical secretary with us involves among other things working with medical record documentation, other Cosmic matters, waiting lists, mail handling, appointment scheduling, telephone service and our work also includes handling referrals and to some extent reception work. We work continuously with improvement/development of our operations. We offer you interesting and developmental work in a stimulating environment with competent and experienced staff and colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is trained as a medical secretary. Previous experience in the profession as well as knowledge of the Cosmic journal system, waiting list management, booking from waiting lists and DRG coding are meriting. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who has good collaboration skills, good ability to plan and organize your work efficiently, has a positive attitude, is flexible, takes responsibility and has the ability to see the bigger picture.
