About Us
The Psychiatric Clinic Nyköping / Katrineholm provides both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric care for residents in the southern and western parts of the county. Our outpatient clinics are located in Nyköping and Katrineholm. Inpatient care is based in Nyköping, where we have two care units with a total of 25 beds for psychosis and general psychiatric care as well as Dependency / PIVA. Our mobile psychiatric emergency clinic is also located there. In addition to medical secretaries, our general psychiatric clinics have doctors, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, care assistants, and a physiotherapist. The clinics serve a broad patient population; we treat affective disorders and anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, burnout syndrome, ADHD, trauma and eating disorders as well as psychosis care and addiction treatment. We also have a specialized psychosis clinic in Nyköping.
Your Responsibilities
We offer an engaging and stimulating job with varied tasks. As a medical secretary, you will work with various assignments, such as medical record writing for both outpatient and inpatient care (primarily by transcribing dictation), mail handling, reception work, document registration and scheduling, as well as managing matters through 1177.
Our mission is to handle all care documentation for the entire clinic. We are working to build a strong team that can perform all medical secretary tasks regardless of whether it involves inpatient or outpatient care.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone with documented training as a medical secretary. We require good knowledge of medical terminology and the Swedish language. Experience with Cosmic is a plus.
We want you to be responsible, thorough, and able to plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently. You are service-oriented and have good collaboration skills. It is essential that you have an interest in meeting people with mental health issues and can treat our patients in a friendly manner with a problem-solving attitude. Our reception is our face to the public, and we value the welcoming and safe atmosphere we have today. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
