The Endocrinology Care Unit is a regional unit for the Southern Healthcare Region and provides highly specialized university and county healthcare. The operation includes outpatient and day care services in both Malmö and Lund, as well as inpatient beds in Malmö. Endocrinology and Diabetology is one of Skåne University Hospital's profile areas. Our operation also has well-developed multidisciplinary collaboration with other disciplines such as surgery, oncology, nephrology, ophthalmology, pathology, and neurosurgery. At the endocrine clinics in Lund and Malmö, patients with hormonal balance disorders affecting the pituitary gland, thyroid, adrenal glands, and parathyroid glands are evaluated and treated. The majority of our patients are individuals with insulin-treated diabetes. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a medical secretary with us, you are an important part of the work team and have a significant role both in the operation and for our patients. We offer stimulating and varied work where you have great personal responsibility. You coordinate the administrative process for our inpatients by, among other things, handling admissions and discharges, writing medical records and referrals. Within the work team, you collaborate with various staff categories and actively participate in improving routines, working methods, and unit development. There is also opportunity for own areas of responsibility. Work at the clinic may occur as needed. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a medical secretary with approved education in Healthcare Administration 80p KY or 400p YH or equivalent medical secretary training. You are an experienced computer user and well-versed in Outlook and the Office suite. In addition, you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language and medical terminology. Since we work with Pasis, Melior, and Medspeech, knowledge of and experience with these programs is meritorious. As a person, you are positive and responsible with a flexible approach and enjoy working both independently and in a team. Additionally, you have good ability to prioritize between different tasks when the pace varies and can adapt your working methods when circumstances require.
