The Radiology Clinic is seeking a medical secretary to join our team. We offer a varied role at a clinic with both acute and scheduled visits. With us, you will have an important role in contact with patients and referring physicians. Medical secretaries at the Radiology Clinic work in different departments and you will have the opportunity to rotate between them based on needs and competence. Your work with us will be highly varied and include appointment scheduling, telephone contact with patients, and reception work. The work also includes image transfer using various techniques to and from patients, other hospitals, or remote reviewers in other countries. In this way, you are an important link in the care chain. Our operations are constantly developing and new technology is being integrated into the work. As an employee, you will play an important role in this and be given the opportunity to develop in line with new working methods in the organization. Working hours are daytime, Monday-Friday. About you We are looking for you who are trained as a medical secretary. You are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks with high quality. You see collaboration as a natural part of work. You are accustomed to and can handle rapid changes and are flexible. Patient contact is an important part of the work and you should enjoy meeting other people. It is important to us that you understand the importance of professional and good service. You should be able to meet people well both in person and by phone. You will be our face to the outside world! The work consists largely of digital management, which requires your system understanding and technical ability. We expect you to contribute to improvements in the daily work at the clinic and to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the work group. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Your future workplace We are a medium-sized clinic with both breadth and specialization within our different professions. We are just over 100 employees, including 13 medical secretaries, who in different ways contribute to developing, disseminating and implementing new knowledge within our acute and elective examinations. We work in different departments with CT, plain radiography, MRI, angiography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, mammography and to some extent PET-CT. Work is also underway to expand MRI diagnostics. Together we create a workplace with great commitment and participation, where everyone is given the opportunity to have a say. Länssjukhuset in Kalmar is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an acute care hospital with specialist care, obstetric care and postnatal care. Here, just over 2,300 people work to provide good care and high patient safety to the residents of the county.
