We are now seeking a quality-conscious medical secretary for a full-time position with a start date by agreement. You will be part of medical administration, which is organized under the administrative unit where administrative resources, medical secretaries, and material teams are co-located. Within medical administration, we work collaboratively and across boundaries throughout the hospital's operational areas: surgery, medicine, and emergency care.
Your Assignment
As a medical secretary with us, you have an important role where you and others in the secretary group support all units within the hospital with various administrative tasks. The main assignment is medical record writing for both outpatient and inpatient care, diagnosis coding and DRG registration, registry management, and referral and mail handling. We work in the IT systems Cosmic and Orbit. The position includes weekend duty every fourth weekend. Speech recognition and AI may impact work tasks in the future.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is trained as a medical secretary or medical administrative assistant. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both written and spoken form. Experience in diagnosis coding and knowledge of our work tools Cosmic, Orbit, and the Office package are merits.
Your Competence
We are looking for someone who works in a structured manner and plans their work well, completes tasks on time, and meets deadlines. You handle stress in a constructive way and maintain good conduct even under pressure. You stay current within your professional field through environmental awareness and are flexible, unpretentious, and solution-oriented with focus on the operation's common goals.

What We Offer
Fixed-term employment on a full-time basis for 1 year with the possibility of extension and a weekly working time of 38.25 hours, which includes duty every fourth weekend.
