About Us Närhälsan Fristad Health Center is located approximately 10 km from Borås with a catchment area of approximately 7,000 residents. Here we work in a well-functioning team of 35 employees in a pleasant workplace in rural areas. Read more about the benefits and perks we offer at Närhälsan: Link to our website About the Work As a Medical Foot Care Therapist at Närhälsan, you work with patients with special needs for medical foot care by preventing foot injuries, treating foot problems, providing secondary relief and protection for healed foot conditions, and working with preventive care. Most of the work is done independently with your own clinic where you book patient visits and handle patient administration, with medical record documentation in Asynja Visph. However, you are also an important part of the health center's team and collaborate around the patient. You participate in patient education, for example at diabetes school, and in training for staff and students, as well as actively participate in the facility's development work. About You You are trained as a nursing assistant with a supplementary education in medical foot care therapy. Experience from work in primary care is a merit. We are looking for someone who has the ability to work both independently and in a team, is flexible and can make independent assessments. The workload varies, so it is important that you have a good ability to prioritize your tasks. A professional approach and good treatment of customers, patients and colleagues is a given for you. On July 1, 2023, nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant in healthcare and care.
