Course Host - Medborgarskolan

We are now looking for a Course Host who helps create a welcoming and well-functioning operation in our premises on Molinsgatan. About the position As a Course Host, you are our face to the outside during evening hours. You ensure that the premises are in order, help leaders and participants, and contribute to making the house welcoming, safe and functional for everyone who spends time there. The work suits you if you enjoy meeting people, are practical-minded and like taking responsibility. The position is approximately 15 hours per week, evening hours, during September-November. Work tasks In this role you will, among other things: - Set up and prepare rooms for activities and restore them after completed activities. - Staff the entrance and be a visible and accessible contact person in the building. - Answer the phone and assist leaders and participants with questions that arise during the evening. - Handle simple malfunctions and practical issues in the premises. - Ensure that the premises are left in good condition for the next working day. We are looking for you who: - Enjoy practical work tasks. - Are service-oriented, helpful and enjoy meeting people. - Are responsible and can work independently. - Are orderly and reliable. - Have good communication skills and feel comfortable answering the phone. Meritorious It is meritorious if you have experience from work within, for example: *Caretaking, facilities management or similar service professions *Customer service *Cleaning services What matters most to us, however, is your attitude.
