We have five work teams for day and evening shifts, geographically distributed across the entire municipality, including a home support team specializing in dementia/psychiatry. Under the same roof, we also have a night patrol, and in adjacent spaces, the municipality's Home Healthcare services are located. Home Care Services in Vadstena Municipality has two staffing coordinators who handle daily service user planning, personnel staffing, and administration. Additionally, we have a scheduling planner and a digital assistant nurse. There are also two unit managers who share responsibility and are present daily in the operations.

Duties
Work within home care services involves performing services under several different laws; we provide services under both the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act in the service user's own home. This means you provide good care and service to care recipients with high quality. Regardless of the legal framework, our work involves seeing the individual and basing our approach on their wishes and needs. We do this by applying the national value base, working with a fixed care contact, and maintaining good and close collaboration within the municipality with, for example, nurses and care managers.
A rehabilitative approach where you motivate and stimulate the individual is essential to work here with us.
Documentation is part of the assignment; it is important that information is communicated, which means you need to be computer literate and be able to express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish. The position includes obtaining and maintaining HSL delegation according to the Health and Medical Services Act to be able to perform services related to this legal framework.
Vadstena Municipality has been on a full-time journey for several years—Full-time as the norm. This means the operations offer all employees full-time positions. When needed, the operations plan resource time for employees that may be worked in another work team. Employment means you will be scheduled with rotating day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with at least one year of documented experience working in health and care. It is particularly meritorious if you are trained as a nursing assistant and hold a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare. Employment with us requires that you have a good demeanor, are flexible and responsible, and have good empathetic ability toward both colleagues and service users. We place great value on good teamwork skills, a positive outlook, and commitment to both service users and coworkers. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing since documentation and communication are a major part of the work.
You are involved in taking responsibility for your work team's development and have the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances. You can independently prioritize work tasks and maintain composure even in stressful situations.
A B driver's license and the ability to cycle are required, as we travel by car in rural areas and by bicycle in the city center.
