About this work area At IKEA Stockholm Gallerian, no two days are the same. We're about 150 employees working together to exceed our customers' expectations and create fantastic customer experiences. Now we're seeking employees for several different departments at various contract hours. When you apply, you'll specify which contract hours and department interest you. Here's a brief description of our departments. SALES In Sales, we have great passion and knowledge about IKEA's product range. We're driven by personal interaction and actively finding the best solution for customers' home lives. By being curious and attentive, we help our customers with creative home furnishing solutions. In Sales, it's important to handle multiple tasks simultaneously during busy periods and take initiative during quieter times. We in Sales ensure our departments are in top condition with complete, clean, and properly priced products! FOOD In the Food department, we take care of our hungry food guests in the best way. In our Swedish Deli, we serve something for everyone - lunch, coffee break, and dinner. Here you work closely with your colleagues in all aspects of our restaurant operations. It involves preparing both hot and cold food, dishwashing, and serving. We always keep things clean and neat around us, both in our production areas and customer areas, as food safety is always the highest priority. For us, customer service is also incredibly important, and we want our food guests to have the best possible experience. RECOVERY In Recovery, we work daily with product quality and sustainability to make IKEA a more climate-smart company and give our products a longer life. We handle customer returns, sales stops, and quality matters. We also manage our Circular Store where our damaged returns and display items get a second chance for sale. In our department, if you're curious, flexible, and solution-oriented, you'll thrive. At Recovery, we require that you speak English as your direct manager will be English-speaking. We offer permanent employment with a 6-month trial period, if not already employed at IKEA. Start date in September or by agreement. The contract hours we offer are 10 or 32 hours/week. • 10 hrs/week means working 1 evening/week plus every other weekend. Good fit for you if you're studying or have another part-time job on the side. • 32 hrs/week means working approximately 4-5 days per week, both daytime and evening shifts, weekdays plus every other weekend. Perfect if you want your work as your main occupation. We offer salary according to collective agreement, and in addition to your base salary you'll also receive shift compensation. For example, if you work on Saturdays after 12:00, all day Sundays, and public holidays, you receive 100% shift compensation.
