Mechanical Engineer – CAD and Visualization Data

Work with transforming CAD data into high-quality visualization materials in a technical environment with focus on quality, structure, and collaboration. Here you'll work closely with product development and design to transform CAD data into high-quality visualization materials. About the Role You support the work of preparing and transforming CAD data for visualization. You work with material assignment, data cleaning, and quality assurance. You produce technical visualization images for internal use. You contribute to structured data materials for other parts of the organization. What You'll Do Clean, simplify, and structure CAD geometry. Build scenes and assign materials for visualization. Validate data and conduct QA checks. Create and deliver visualization packages to internal recipients. Collaborate with product development, design, and communication stakeholders. What We're Looking For Engineering degree or equivalent in mechanics, product development, or industrial design. Experience working in 3D CAD environments, preferably CATIA V5. Experience handling complex CAD assemblies and product structures. Background from automotive or commercial vehicle development. Strong ability to work in a structured and quality-focused manner in project environments. Technology & Tools CATIA V5 Participating Adobe Photoshop VRED or similar visualization tools Alias, Rhino, or other surface modeling tools are a plus Practical Information Location: Södertälje Work arrangement: On-site Language: English required, Swedish is a plus
