The Role
You work in an early and decisive stage of the development chain, where fundamental principles are set and where small decisions have a major impact on the final product. You work closely with experienced colleagues and, depending on your experience, take a more supporting or driving role in the development of calculation models and simulations for optimization of load-bearing structures. Your work has direct consequences for how solutions can be industrialized.
You will, among other things:
· Contribute to and/or drive the development of FEM and CAD models
· Explore and evaluate different conceptual solutions using structural mechanics simulations
· Ensure that concepts not only meet theoretical requirements, but also suit the chosen manufacturing methods
· Contribute to methods that make advanced technology possible to scale
· Work closely with industrial partners where theory meets real requirements
Your Background
We are looking for you who have a degree in mechanical engineering and who have a strong interest in calculation, design and technical problem-solving. Good language skills in Swedish and English are a requirement, as is Swedish citizenship.
You may be at the beginning of your career or have several years of experience – what is important is that you want to work on complex problems where your analysis has real impact.
For those at the beginning of your career, there are good opportunities to develop quickly in close collaboration with experienced colleagues. For those with more experience, there is an opportunity to take greater responsibility in more complex issues and contribute your expertise in the development of both solutions and working methods.
