Mechanical Design Engineer

Develop glass and rail solutions in an international vehicle development team with responsibility for functionality, quality, and delivery throughout the entire product development process. Here you'll work closely with product development in an international automotive environment where glass and rail solutions are developed from concept to production. This role is perfect for you if you want to take responsibility for engineering, quality, and delivery in cross-functional teams. About the Role You will lead the development of glass and rail components in vehicle projects. You will work through the entire chain, from early development to production launch. You will coordinate internal expertise and suppliers in cross-functional teams. You are responsible for functionality, performance, quality, timeline, and cost. What You'll Do Drive development work for components in multiple parallel projects. Ensure that technical solutions meet requirements for functionality and quality. Monitor schedules and contribute to achieving project goals. Manage changes even in ongoing production. Collaborate closely with colleagues in design, procurement, and suppliers. We're Looking for You With Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience in mechanical design and product development. Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional teams. Strong ability to work systematically and drive issues toward goals. Merit: Experience with glass and polymer materials.
