Flooring Installer for Trade Shows and Events - Gothenburg

We are seeking full-time event staff – Gothenburg Allo Event is immediately looking for a dedicated, responsible, and hardworking employee for one of our clients in the event and trade show industry in Gothenburg! We are looking for someone who wants long-term employment and sees this as a workplace where you want to stay and develop over the coming years. For the right person, there are good opportunities to grow within the company and take on more responsibility. About the Position The position is full-time (100%) and based in Gothenburg. Work takes place at Svenska Mässan, various events and trade shows in Gothenburg, and at other locations as needed. The work primarily consists of laying flooring before and after events and trade shows, but may also include other practical tasks. Working hours are variable and may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends. During peak periods, the work can be intensive and stressful as events often have tight deadlines. Therefore, it is important that you can stay calm, work efficiently, and do what is necessary to complete the job on time. What We're Looking For: Valid B-category driver's license for manual transmission – required Forklift certification is a plus, but not required Fluent spoken and written Swedish – required Good physical health and comfortable with physical work Hardworking, positive, and responsible Attentive to detail and punctual Quick to learn new tasks Able to receive instructions, understand them, and communicate information and instructions to colleagues Excellent and professional customer service skills Flexible and able to work overtime and weekends when needed Able to work independently but also function well as part of a team Thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle stress when workload is high Solution-oriented and able to identify what needs to be done No prior experience is required. You don't need to have worked in events or trade shows before. What matters most to us is that you are hardworking, learn quickly, take responsibility, and have the right attitude. You will receive training and learn the tasks on the job.
