Role Description: Surveying Technical Consultant – Infrastructure and Construction
As a surveying technical consultant with us, you will have a central role in the project lifecycle. Your work is the link between project concept and reality, and you are the hub between the site manager and work teams. With your aptitude for practical solutions, positive attitude, and willingness to solve problems, you will become a key person in the projects you work on and drive from pre-planning, through production, and to project completion.

Main responsibilities include:
- Review of drawings and technical documentation prior to project start.
- Ongoing surveying technical support during the production phase.
- Control measurements and verification calculations.
- Responsibility for quantity management, which is a critical component for project success.
- Close collaboration with the site manager and calculations department on financial matters and project agreements.

Examples of current projects:
- Östermalmstorg is being renovated into a vibrant, safe, and accessible public square that preserves the square's historical values. A detailed planning project where many eyes are upon us and where communication with the client, residents, businesses, and visitors is just as important as production results.
- The property Separatorn 1 is a new office building with an innovation center that Skanska is building on behalf of Fabege. A park landscape is to be created on the innovation center's roof, and we have been asked and accepted the challenge. A project at (somewhat) dizzying heights that requires good coordination and efficient logistics.
- Bromma shopping district is being expanded, and the City of Stockholm has, after reviewing traffic flows, decided to implement optimization measures to improve traffic flow. Work includes, among other things, creating two new traffic lanes and relocating existing pedestrian crossings within a heavily trafficked area.

Qualifications and Experience
Formal Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a surveying technical consultant.
- Experience with quantity management, preferably from AMA/MER/RA Construction.
- Good knowledge of SBG Geo or Topocad. AutoCAD is meritorious.
- Good knowledge of instruments from Leica or Trimble.
- B-class driver's license.
- Good knowledge of Swedish (required) and English.
Meritorious are experience and good knowledge of:
- Production surveying for infrastructure, construction, water/sewage, electrical, and detailed planning.
- Production surveying for building.
- Surveying with scanner and/or drone as well as data processing.
- Responsibility for quantity management of contracts valued at 10–100 million SEK.
- Quantity lists with technical descriptions, AMA Construction, and MER Construction for quantity management.
- Relevant technical education (civil engineering degree or equivalent education).
Other Requirements and Preferences:
- Good computer skills.
- Residence in the Stockholm area.
