Your Responsibilities As a Materials Coordinator, you play a central role in ensuring material availability and delivery precision to production. You are responsible for tracking material flows and delivery forecasts and serve as an important link between production, planning, procurement, and other internal functions. Your responsibilities include: Prioritize production schedules and materials based on operational and customer needs Monitor and communicate material status and delivery forecasts to production management and internal customers Identify and mark critical items in the business system (IFS/Sharp) to ensure rapid handling Initiate, drive, and follow up on actions in response to delivery deviations or material shortages, particularly for critical items Make demands on internal production, procurement, quality, and production engineering when disruptions, late deliveries, returns, or quality deviations occur Prepare analyses and statistics on material shortages and deviations to identify trends and improvement areas Work proactively to reduce shortage situations and create stable material flows Collaborate closely with production managers, planning, and procurement to ensure correct priorities and on-time delivery Ensure that planning data in business systems is accurate and up to date to enable effective decision-making Your Profile To thrive and succeed as a Materials Coordinator, we believe you are a structured person who thrives in a dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly. You have the ability to see the bigger picture in material flows and production processes and are comfortable working on multiple tasks in parallel while maintaining attention to detail. We believe you have: Experience from manufacturing industry and a good understanding of production and material flows Education in logistics, planning, or procurement, or equivalent work experience Experience working in business systems, preferably IFS or similar Strong Excel skills Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written To succeed in this role, we also see that you are self-driven, take initiative, and are comfortable making decisions when the situation requires it. You have the ability to drive issues forward, make demands on other functions, and follow up to ensure that actions are completed. The position requires that you undergo and pass security clearance according to applicable regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, certain citizenship requirements may apply.
