Do you have experience in composite manufacturing and want to work with advanced technology, materials, and product development? We are now seeking a Materials and Process Engineer for our client, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced technical products and manufacturing processes. Working as a Materials and Process Engineer at our client You will become part of a Materials & Process team responsible for implementing new materials, developing material systems and associated processes, and contributing to technical development. In this role, you will play an important part in the continued development of advanced products and work closely with both product development and suppliers. You will be part of a specialist team within the composites field that supports multiple parts of the organization. The team works broadly with composites – from manufacturing and repair to material qualification and calculation methodology. Currently, several exciting initiatives are underway where the development and optimization of manufacturing processes are in focus. Your main responsibilities will include: • Working with manufacturing processes and quality issues in close collaboration with suppliers • Supporting product development throughout the entire development chain, from concept and system design to detailed design, verification, and delivery • Planning and conducting testing campaigns • Developing material and process specifications • Contributing to and driving technical development within the composites field • Collaborating with subcontractors, which may involve some travel and the possibility of working at supplier locations This role offers you excellent opportunities to develop together with the organization and work with modern technology in composites, materials development, and manufacturing processes. You can work from the office in Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Linköping in this role. We are looking for you who • Have a university degree in fiber composites, materials engineering, or equivalent • Have good knowledge and practical experience in composite manufacturing and materials testing • Have experience in product development within the industry and an interest in materials, manufacturing processes, and technical development • Have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written • The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable security clearance regulations. For positions where our client requires security classification, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for certain citizenship. As a person, you are self-driven, solution-oriented, and motivated, while also enjoying collaboration and working towards common goals.
