About the Role As a Measurement and Waste Technician, you will work on decommissioning projects within nuclear operations. The role is practical and varied, where you, together with the team, are responsible for safe handling, measurement, and processing of radiological waste. The work takes place in a safety-critical environment with high demands for accuracy, structure, and collaboration. In the role you will, among other things: Conduct radiological measurements and material classification Sort, pack, and handle radiological and hazardous waste Work with loading, load securing, and truck and overhead crane operation Document and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety procedures Participate in cutting and dismantling of materials and scrap Receive further training and develop within the field Your Profile We are looking for you who have: Completed upper secondary education Driver's license category B Basic computer skills Swedish, both spoken and written Merits: Experience in nuclear power Overhead crane and truck licenses As a person, you are: Careful, responsible, and safety-conscious. The Position Employment type: The position begins with paid radiation protection training. Upon completion and approval of the training, a fixed-term employment is applied with the possibility of later conversion to permanent employment. Employment start by agreement.
