About the Position

To meet increasing regulatory requirements and ensure the highest quality in handling customer master data, a new specialist role is being established.
As Master Data & Compliance Specialist, you will have a central role in ensuring that customer master data is handled correctly, traceable, and in accordance with applicable legislation and internal regulations. The role combines operational work with clear responsibility for internal control, risk management, and continuous development of processes and routines. You will become the organization's specialist in this area and work closely with several internal functions while maintaining ongoing contact with external stakeholders such as authorities and municipalities. The role involves no personnel responsibility, but significant specialist responsibility and good opportunities to influence how the area develops.
Responsibilities
As Master Data & Compliance Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring high quality in customer master data and that the business complies with regulatory requirements. The role encompasses both operational and developmental work and includes, among other things:
Owning and developing processes for customer registers and master data.
Ensuring that customer data and associated documentation are correct, up-to-date, and traceable.
Quality assuring complex customer matters and identifying risks related to data quality and regulatory compliance.
Planning and conducting internal audits, sampling, and follow-ups, and ensuring that deviations are managed.
Interpreting regulations and translating them into practical routines and procedures.
Responsibility for administrative and operational aspects of self-monitoring programs linked to tobacco wholesale licensing.
Compiling documentation for inspections, audits, and regulatory reviews.
Being an important point of contact with authorities, municipalities, and internal stakeholders regarding regulatory compliance matters.
We are Looking for You If You
Have experience from a regulated or licensed business, for example in tobacco, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, gaming, or finance.
Have worked with customer registers or master data where quality and regulatory compliance were business-critical.
Have experience with internal control, compliance, or other regulation-driven processes.
Have a good understanding of how regulations affect the organization's risks and licenses.
Are accustomed to interpreting regulations and translating them into practical procedures.
Work in a structured, analytical, and careful manner with high quality in documentation and administration.
Have good system skills and communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
It is Advantageous If You Have
Experience with self-monitoring programs or work related to licensed tobacco operations.
Experience with authority contacts and regulatory inspection processes.
Experience developing internal control routines and quality processes.
