As an operator, your work tasks will primarily consist of: Processing large steel components Measurement and quality assurance according to given instructions Blueprint reading and working from technical documentation Active collaboration with colleagues for an efficient production flow The machine operator position is a direct employment with Björneborg Steel AB in Björneborg with a start date by agreement. The role involves shift work, which suits you if you are comfortable with varying working hours. About You We are looking for someone who is practically minded with technical interest and curiosity about the industry. Blueprint reading and measurement technique are central elements of the role, so you need to feel confident with the basics. Previous experience with turning and/or milling is a merit. We also see that you are patient, structured, and enjoy working in a team. You are flexible, helpful, and contribute to good cooperation within the group. Important for the position: Basic knowledge in turning, blueprint reading, and measurement technique Interest in learning new work tasks and developing within the industry Accuracy and quality mindset We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
