About the Role As a machine operator, you work with band saws, CNC mills, tube drawing equipment, and heavy lifting in connection with material processing and preparatory work on steam generators. The work may include: · Operating band saws, CNC machines, and roboticized equipment · Heavy lifting and material handling · Measuring, hole drilling, and simple welding tasks · Forklift and overhead crane operation · Monitoring, adjustments, and troubleshooting Who We're Looking For This is a role for you who likes technology, machinery, and varied practical work. You are a technically curious and practically inclined operator who enjoys working close to production and has experience with machine operation, preferably within industry. The work is physically demanding, so you need to be in good physical condition and enjoy working with your body. You are: Meticulous, structured, and safety-conscious Independent but also enjoy working in a team Comfortable reading instructions and handling advanced equipment Requirements: Experience with remote-controlled/roboticized machinery (e.g., Brokk) Practical technical competence & troubleshooting Welding experience Swedish & English Computer skills (Office 365) Category B driver's license + car Ability to work continuous 3-shift rotation Meritorious: Radiation protection certification Forklift and overhead crane certification The placement location is Studsvik outside Nyköping and the work takes place on-site.
