About the Machinery Mechanic Role As a machinery mechanic, you are responsible for advanced service, maintenance, and repair of our entire machinery fleet and at customer sites when needed, from handheld tools and construction equipment to heavy machinery. You diagnose and fix technical problems and work with complex systems such as hydraulics, combustion engines, and machine electronics while contributing to knowledge transfer and supporting your colleagues' development. You perform reconditioning, functional checks, and prepare equipment for delivery. The role also includes administrative tasks and documentation as well as collaboration with your depot colleagues regarding spare parts orders.
