Mechanical Engineer - Chassis and Vehicle Configuration

We are seeking a mechanical engineer for an assignment with a heavy vehicle manufacturer in Södertälje. You will handle customer and market requirements regarding specific truck configurations. The work involves utilizing the customer's modular product portfolio, assessing what can be built within the existing vehicle architecture, and developing practical solutions. Focus on chassis, layout, and complete vehicle systems. You own your projects from start to delivery. The team is there when you need it, but you drive requirements, orders, and delivery yourself. You collaborate with customers and with design, production, and procurement. We are looking for you with: • Engineering degree, preferably in mechanical engineering • Experience with chassis, vehicle layout, or complete vehicle systems • Experience independently driving technical projects and deliveries • Fluent Swedish or English • Experience with CATIA, OAS, and ENOVIA is a plus • NATO country citizenship is a plus Full-time, approximately two years. At least three days per week on-site in Södertälje. Background check before start. CV in English.
