Job Responsibilities
As a machine operator, you will help maintain Malmö city's public spaces, perform various construction work, manhole replacement, excavation, digging tree pits, modification work in both street and park environments, and more.
Work is scheduled during daytime hours 07:00-16:00. On-call work occurs, primarily during winter. You should be accustomed to and understand taking breakfast and lunch at the worksite.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with experience working as an operator of wheel excavators and with well-documented experience in this (minimum 4 years and 6000 hours). You must have a machine operator certificate for wheel excavators and wheel loaders. Other relevant training and certifications are considered advantageous.
You must have at least a B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles and good skills in the Swedish language.
You work well independently and take your own initiatives to complete the job well, but you also work well in a team. As you will be part of a larger context with close contact with colleagues, you need to be a positive person with good ability to collaborate.
If you currently work in a well-coordinated team with a construction worker who holds a machine operator certificate, we are open to employing the construction worker as well.
