About the Company: Hallsbergs Smide AB has been in business for over 70 years. We currently have approximately 35 employees. We operate within three different customer segments: repair/maintenance, contract manufacturing, and structural metalwork. We have invested in a new cutting machine that will be installed in 2022. We have broad professional expertise in sheet metal processing and machine processing. Our focus is on small-batch manufacturing such as prototypes and small production runs. We work with commonly used steel grades, stainless steel, and aluminum. We are currently certified in ISO 9001, ISO 3834-2, and EN ISO 1090-1 Experience working independently with CNC-controlled sheet metal cutting machines (laser/plasma/gas) is desirable but not required. Job Description - Main Responsibilities: - Based on requirements (work schedule), perform daily detailed planning on the cutting machine. - Based on manufacturing orders, drawings, and with the help of nesting programs and cutting files, create programs for the CNC-controlled cutting machine. - Monitor/operate CNC cutting machine. - Handle sheet metal/parts using truck and traverse/rotating crane. - Inventory sheet metal storage. - Order gas. - Arrange procurement of consumable materials for the cutting machine. Your Qualifications: Experience with welding/operating a sheet metal cutting machine for various types of materials, primarily black steel.
