6. Job Responsibilities:
6.1. Within the scope of competence, perform preventive care and medical treatment measures to maintain and improve student health;
6.2. Monitor students' overall health status and conduct daily health assessments;
6.3. Organize and conduct preventive health screenings in cooperation with parents and family physicians;
6.4. Provide emergency medical assistance to students and staff in cases of injuries, acute illness, or other health disorders;
6.5. Inform students and staff about healthy lifestyle, hygiene, nutrition, mental health, and related matters;
6.6. Participate in school health promotion programs and projects;
6.7. Maintain student medical records in compliance with personal data protection requirements;
6.8. Prepare reports in accordance with regulatory requirements (for example, to the Disease Prevention and Control Centre (SPKC), Health Inspectorate, etc.);
6.9. Organize first aid courses for SBDMV staff;
6.10. Participate in events organized by SBDMV;
6.11. Ensure work compliance with the regulatory acts of the Republic of Latvia in the field of health care;
6.12. Participate in monitoring compliance with hygiene requirements at SBDMV.
7. Competencies and Skills Required to Perform Job Duties:
7.1. Secondary professional or higher medical education;
7.2. Registration in the Medical Practitioners Register as a general care nurse;
7.3. Knowledge of psychological and physiological characteristics of children and youth;
7.4. Ability to plan and organize work in accordance with SBDMV goals and objectives;
7.5. Ability to establish professional cooperation with SBDMV staff;
7.6. Psychological resilience and high standards of interpersonal communication;
7.7. Ability to work in a team;
7.8. Self-assessment skills;
7.9. State language proficiency at the level established in regulatory acts.
8. Responsibility:
8.1. Responsible for the health and safety of SBDMV students, staff, and visitors within the scope of job duties;
