Augšdaugavas novada Zemgales vidusskola invites applications for a School Nurse / General Care Nurse in Child Care (profession code 2221 47) for an indefinite position starting 01.09.2026 at 0.2 full-time equivalent. Job Responsibilities: · Plan and organize your work. · Provide first aid in cases of injuries and acute illnesses. · Conduct anthropometric measurements of students once per year (weight, height, vision). · Perform lice and pediculosis screening once per year. · Provide care for children with special needs. · Select students for immunization and inform parents about planned vaccinations. · Organize preventive measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases in the secondary school. · Monitor the quality of products and prepared meals used in the school cafeteria. · Conduct educational work on student hygiene, disease prevention, and medical care. Required Education: Registered General Care Nurse with acquired specialization or professional development education in child care.
