Read more at bollebygd.se We are seeking an engaged and solution-oriented land and development engineer for our planning and development unit who enjoys the variety of tasks that a smaller municipality can offer. Right now we are working on various strategic development projects, detailed plans for outdoor recreation, schools, housing, and facilities, and in close collaboration with Trafikverket on planning a new railway between Gothenburg and Borås. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As part of our planning and development team, you will have varied tasks throughout the entire municipal planning process, and you will prepare and present your assignments to the political bodies. As a land and development engineer, you represent the municipality in the role of property owner and will largely work with strategic land use, sales and purchases of properties, establishment inquiries, drawing up agreements and development calculations, and securing land access through various rights. The work is varied and involves many contacts and collaborations. In Bollebygd, you work closely with colleagues in planning, GIS, finance, streets, parks, environment, and building permits. You will also meet external actors such as developers, consultants, property owners, and authorities. The municipality's development activities are located within the planning and development unit, which works on behalf of the municipal council and municipal executive committee and in close dialogue with the municipal director and the political bodies. The unit is part of the Municipal Executive Administration and is responsible for comprehensive planning, detailed planning, development, municipal properties, and mapping and geodata activities. The position offers the possibility of remote work agreements, and we also have access to a satellite office in Gårda in Gothenburg. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in surveying or real estate law that the employer finds relevant • B-class driver's license Meritorious: • Work experience in surveying and/or civil engineering • Experience with surveying procedures and property valuation • Master's degree in surveying, real estate law, or civil engineering.
