The Education Department is responsible for preschools, primary schools, afterschool programs, upper secondary schools, adult education, and child and student health services. Approximately 1,100 employees work here together creating a safe and developmental school and childcare.
The Nature School helps broaden pedagogical diversity in the municipality's schools and preschools. This creates better opportunities to reach students who are not fully benefited by traditional classroom instruction, while strengthening collaboration and social learning.
Through its pedagogy, the Nature School demonstrates how learning can be combined with physical activity. The increased physical activity in turn contributes to improved concentration and increased well-being in children and students.

DUTIES
Together with your colleague and in collaboration with the principal, you will plan outdoor educational activities for children and students (F-9) in Ystad Municipality. Activities will be conducted during school time and holidays in the best possible locations, which may include the Nature School's own grounds, school yards, the city, or the sea.
The Nature School collaborates with many external partners such as the Waste Management Department, local marine companies, a local sport fishing association, and the Public Works Department.
The position also includes supervision and certain maintenance of the Marietorp site.
QUALIFICATIONS
You must have a teaching degree, pedagogical degree, or equivalent.
You are expected to have good knowledge of preschool and school curricula and work based on them in a natural way by translating content into practical and pedagogical outdoor activities. You take responsibility for your own learning, knowing it is one of the key success factors for making a real difference. Therefore, it is natural for you to follow up and reflect on your own teaching. You have a solution-focused and enthusiastic approach with good ability to work in teams as well as independently.
It is meritious if you have:
• Experience with outdoor pedagogy.
• Experience leading children and youth of all ages.
• You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Working hours: Daytime. This position is a vacation-relief position and working hours are essentially always daytime. The operations have holiday activities for afterschool programs and tourists during vacations.
