We currently have an assignment where we are seeking competent male companions for a case in Vällingby.
About the assignment:
It concerns an 11-year-old boy with diagnoses of autism and ADHD. It is important that you as a companion have knowledge and previous experience with these diagnoses, and are experienced in working with young people who have difficulties with changes/unexpected situations that can lead to disruptive behavior. You need to provide continuous supervision and oversight while performing the companion duties.
Job responsibilities: As a companion with us, you provide care and social support based on the client's individual needs and wishes. Together with other staff, you work to make the client's life meaningful and fulfilling. As a companion, you accompany the client to various activities outside the home to relieve the parents. Days and times may vary but often include weekends.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with previous experience working with children and young people. We want you to have experience with disabilities. You have a positive attitude and a flexible, creative mindset with the ability to see possibilities. You see it as your clear responsibility to contribute to a positive work environment. You also have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
