In this role, personal chemistry and fit are essential. The client values above all calm, stability, and good communication – and is looking for an assistant who can create a sense of security by being reliable, attentive, and trustworthy.
About the Role
You will work with a cheerful and active man in his 40s who uses a wheelchair. As a personal assistant, you will support him in his daily life based on his needs and wishes. This may include everything from daily routines and structure to accompanying him on various activities.
An important part of the role is building a stable and trusting relationship over time. You therefore need to be present and social while also being attentive and respectful of the client's autonomy and privacy.
The client prefers a male assistant of approximately the same age, as he sees a natural social match and the opportunity to find common ground as meaningful for the relationship.
Who Are We Looking For?
We believe that you:
are a calm and stable person who inspires confidence
have an easy time communicating and building trust
are social and attentive with a good sense of when to be present and when to step back
are responsible, reliable, and can follow established routines
are practical and comfortable helping where needed
can communicate well in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Previous experience with personal assistance or similar work is a plus, but not decisive. What matters most is who you are as a person and that there is a good and secure match between you and the client.
About the Position
The position is approximately 25–50% and working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and night shifts with on-call sleeping shifts according to a rotating schedule.
