We are now recruiting monthly temporary staff for personal support services within the Department for Functional Support. With us, you will meet children, young people, and adults with various support needs and life situations who may have challenging behavior. Your task is to create safety, participation, and conditions for a meaningful everyday life based on each individual's needs and abilities. Work tasks vary between different cases but include personal care, educational support, assistance with communication and social interaction, activities, documentation, and common household tasks. In some operations, work with medical technical aids or comprehensive care may occur. Medication management according to delegation is included in the work tasks. You work where the assistance user is located, meaning you will be in the assistance user's home or at activities outside the home. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, weekends, weekdays, awake nights, or sleep-in on-call shifts. When you work with us as a monthly temporary staff member, you will receive a monthly employment contract with 100% service during the employment period. You will work according to a fixed schedule planned based on the operation's needs. Within Personal Support, we work with co-planning, which means work may occur in other cases. As an hourly temporary staff member, you make yourself available in our booking system when you wish to work. When needs arise in the operation, our staffing planners book you for shifts and you are contacted based on your availability. Qualifications To work as a temporary staff member within functional support, you must be at least 18 years old in accordance with regulations on young workers' working environment (AFS 2023:2 Chapter 6, Sections 56, 8 §§). It is a requirement that you demonstrate a grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If not, you may be offered a language test via EducateIt. It is a merit if you have: - education or ongoing education in, for example, support assistant, nursing assistant, care and support, pedagogy, or behavioral science - experience working within functional support, care and support, or personal assistance - experience working with people with challenging behaviors - knowledge of low-arousal approach (LAB) and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) - experience with medical technical aids, mobility assistance, or comprehensive care - a B-category driver's license We are looking for someone who puts the individual in focus and treats people with respect, good conduct, and commitment.
