Job Responsibilities
Are you looking for meaningful work where you can make a difference?
We are now recruiting temporary hourly and monthly staff for new personal assistance assignments throughout Gothenburg. You will be working to provide support and care to individuals with various types of needs and unique life situations, including both young people and adults.
The work involves varying tasks such as educational support in daily life, personal care, and common household work such as laundry and cooking. Part of the work also involves documenting the assistance user's development and needs. As an assistant, you play a central role in creating a meaningful daily life and contributing to the assistance user's well-being and independence.
The job responsibilities include medication management according to delegation.
You work where the assistance user is, which means you are in the assistance user's home or participating in activities outside the home.
Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, weekend, weekday, waking nights, or sleeping on-call shifts. Within personal support, a few assignments with 24-hour shifts may occur.
When you work with us as a monthly temporary employee, you will receive a monthly employment contract with the opportunity for 100% full-time work during the employment period. You will work according to a fixed schedule planned according to the service's needs. Within Personal Support, we work with joint planning, which means work can occur in other assignments.
As an hourly temporary employee, you make yourself available in our booking system when you wish to work. When needs arise in the service, our staffing coordinators will book you for shifts and contact you based on your availability.

To work as a temporary employee within disability support, you must be 18 years old, in accordance with regulations on the working environment for minors 14 § and appendix 2 1B (AFS 2023:2).
You must be able to present approved grades in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1; if you do not have this, you may be offered a language test via EducateIt.
It is advantageous if you have experience with similar work as well as experience with transfer aids or lifting techniques. It is also advantageous if you are trained or have ongoing education as a support assistant, nursing assistant, or similar qualification.
