In Härnösand, there is time for shared experiences. The Food Department is looking for hourly substitute meal service staff! Job Responsibilities: The meal service staff is responsible, together with the team, for planning, preparing, and serving nutritious and delicious meals to school and preschool students and staff. For this position, it is important to contribute with a positive attitude, be service-oriented, and actively participate in developing the operations. The work also includes participation in self-inspection according to HACCP and other relevant kitchen tasks, such as dishwashing and cleaning. Who Are You? We are looking for someone who enjoys work involving a lot of physical movement and where some tasks can be physically demanding. You have the ability to remain calm and prioritize well when the pace is high. We also consider it important that you are attentive to others' needs and enjoy helping create a positive experience for those we serve. As an hourly substitute, you will work at various preschools, schools, and the production kitchen. Work where you manage your tasks independently may occur. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Experience working in large-scale kitchens, restaurants, or equivalent competence that the employer deems equivalent Good computer skills Driver's license and access to your own car Very good knowledge of the Swedish language both spoken and written as the tasks require it We view the following qualifications especially favorably: Chef training Several years of experience working in large-scale kitchens/restaurants Training and/or experience in HACCP Training and/or experience with food allergies and other special diets To work in preschool/school, an extract from the police criminal record register is required. We place great emphasis on personal qualities, such as being open, positive, attentive, and a self-directed person. You are a responsible and action-oriented person with good collaboration skills. An important requirement for success in this role is that you see the importance of and have a strong interest in food and people. You are an accessible and flexible person who fits well in all our operations in the organization. Other Information The position is part-time, daytime as needed.
