Klingsta is a dementia care facility with 39 apartments, beautifully located in a natural area near Edsviken and within walking distance of Mörby Centrum. The apartments are distributed across 4 units. Klingsta Care and Housing is surrounded by a beautiful fenced garden with apple trees and peaceful areas. We are within walking distance to Edsviken's waterfront and lovely walking paths. The organization is characterized by high expertise within the various professional categories. All staff work based on a rehabilitative approach where the goal is to see each resident as an individual and consider their physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. Our aim is to provide good individualized care and stimulation with competent staff who recognize interests and needs. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES In your role as a Meal Prep Assistant, you will help create nutritious, delicious, and sustainable meals for our residents. You will be responsible for preparing cold dishes such as salads, smoothies, and desserts, as well as cooking dishes and sauces according to the planned menu. The work includes meal preparation, dishwashing, cleaning, food handling, and receiving deliveries. You will handle special diets, organize inventory, and actively work to reduce food waste. The tasks are performed in close collaboration with the chef and other staff at the facility. Through good communication and cooperation, we can ensure that the residents' individual needs and wishes are met. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Training or experience in large-scale kitchens, restaurants, or similar operations. • Experience working in elderly care or at a senior living facility. • Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. • Training in food hygiene. • Knowledge of special diets for seniors and people with dementia. It is a merit if you have knowledge of and have completed HACCP. We are looking for someone with an organized work approach who plans and structures your work well and completes tasks on time with good quality. You are a stable person who handles stress constructively and maintains a good mood. You work well with others and have very good collaboration skills with our common goal in focus. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
