Meal Service is our youngest operation within Nyköping Municipality but at the same time one of our most important investments. Meal Service is responsible for meal operations in schools, preschools, and elder care. Our vision is to create Sweden's best Meal Service for our guests and we do this through excellent service and good, sustainable, and healthy meals!
Meal Service manages approximately 70 kitchens and delivers around 10,000 portions daily with the help of our 170 employees, including chefs and meal service assistants.

DUTIES
At Meal Service, you'll have the opportunity to be part of the journey toward Sweden's best public meal service! Here you prepare meals for the world's most important guests—children, young people, and seniors. You contribute to serving good, sustainable, and healthy meals every day, following meal policies and Meal Service guidelines. You work based on good kitchen economics where high quality and the guest are in focus.
At Meal Service, you work daytime hours and have the opportunity for skill development through internal training in food hygiene, special diets and allergies, sustainable food, and much more.
Your duties include meal serving, daily interactions with guests, daily reporting, operating kitchen machinery, dishwashing, cleaning, and salad preparation. You will work both independently and as part of a team.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who apply have:
· Good knowledge of Swedish regarding speaking, writing, and reading comprehension
· Good computer skills
We view positively if you have:
· Worked in a restaurant or large-scale kitchen
· Experience with meals in public operations
· Experience from service work where people are central
· Driver's license and access to a car
