We are seeking a meal service assistant for the school cafeteria at Drottning Blankas Gymnasium School in Malmö. DBGY Malmö has approximately 700 students who need to be served lunch daily. You can become an important part of this work. Areas of Responsibility We are now looking for an engaged meal service assistant who wants to contribute to a pleasant, sustainable, and high-quality meal experience for our students. About the Role As a meal service assistant, you have an important role in creating an attractive and well-functioning meal environment. You are responsible for, among other things, arranging and restocking food. You contribute to ensuring that the entire process – from preparation to serving – maintains high quality and that the cafeteria is clean and neat. Work Tasks The role includes, among other things: • Preparing the cafeteria for lunch • Providing service in the cafeteria and contributing to a pleasant environment • Working independently based on clear procedures, such as restocking and organization • Following guidelines for hygiene, environment, and quality • Cleaning and self-inspection • Handling deliveries Qualifications We are looking for someone who: • Has experience as a meal service assistant • Has relevant education and good knowledge of self-inspection • Actively works to reduce food waste and has a sustainability mindset • Is service-oriented and enjoys working in a lively environment with young people • Communicates fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
