In Gothenburg, we currently operate Svenska Trappsteg, which specializes in stair renovation and painting work on stairs. Svenska Trappsteg has been in business for about 19 years and is Sweden's leading company in stair renovation for solid oak and 3-layer oak. In Stockholm, we have Svenska Trappsteg and 3-Målare. 3-Målare handles traditional painting as well as stair painting. To meet customer demand, we want to expand our operations in Gothenburg with a painter who can serve both Svenska Trappsteg and 3-Målare. Svenska Trappsteg has locations in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Skåne. (http://svenskatrappsteg.se) Your Responsibilities - You must have good knowledge of painting work and be self-motivated - Surface preparation through sanding, filling, and cleaning - Painting of walls, ceilings, facades, woodwork, and stairs - Primer application and finishing for durable results - Work both indoors and outdoors - Ensure high quality and precision in completed work - Cleaning and preparing the workplace after work is completed - Collaboration with colleagues at our sister company Svenska Trappsteg. Stair painting is also part of your responsibilities - Customer visits will occur. You should be able to calculate work hours and material requirements. Social competence is therefore important. Required Qualifications - Ability to communicate in Swedish or English - B-class driver's license is REQUIRED - Have validated training or good experience in painting work - You must be social and a good team player Since you will also be making house calls and having customer contact, it is necessary that you can communicate in Swedish and make a trustworthy impression. Experience with carpentry work is a plus. If you are also willing to learn stair renovation, that is even better. This is a permanent position with a probationary period. References are desirable.
