Market Operations and Payments Specialist - Payment Systems Management Division
If you have experience in payment and securities settlement operations, data collection automation, and analytical tools development, join the Payments and Settlement Department team at Latvijas Banka's Payment Systems Management Division!
You will have the opportunity to:
perform payment and securities settlement operations;
conduct correspondence with financial institutions;
perform payment and securities event recording control and reconciliation;
provide support to financial institutions regarding securities settlements, euro system monetary operations, and account-based settlements;
perform Latvijas Banka correspondent account reconciliation and related bookings;
participate in the development of departmental operational documentation;
participate in data collection automation and analytical tools development within the department's responsibilities.
We expect from you:
higher education in social sciences (social sciences or information and communication technology);
knowledge of payment execution principles (TARGET, SWIFT, ISO 20022);
preferred minimum 2 years of work experience in the payment systems field;
understanding of international settlement processes and financial markets;
preferred knowledge of accounting principles;
experience working with data collection and analysis tools (for example R, Power BI);
developed analytical thinking, high sense of responsibility, and accuracy in work execution;
good communication skills and ability to work in a team;
very good knowledge of Latvian and English (spoken and written) for communication with Latvijas Banka's foreign partners.

competitive remuneration (monthly salary range from 2400 EUR to 2700 EUR before taxes according to experience and qualifications);
an interesting and responsible full-time position working in shifts with 8-hour working days. Work takes place on weekdays in the morning shift (from 8:00) or evening shift (until 20:00);
