We are looking for someone who has a strong interest in working with people with varying needs. Lyssfallet is a specialized residential facility located approximately three miles outside Falun. We have 30 apartments distributed across three departments, eight apartments for residents with dementia and 22 for residents with high care needs. The facility also has spaces for communal activities and several accessible outdoor areas. Job Responsibilities Working at a specialized residential facility gives you a concrete opportunity to make a difference in someone else's life. The work involves motivating, supporting, and assisting care recipients in all everyday situations. The tasks include providing good care and service to our residents. This may involve assisting with personal care, meal situations, service tasks, and social activities. Our mission is to work based on approved care decisions and the care recipient's own implementation plan. The implementation plan describes the service and the way the care recipient wishes to receive the approved services – it is a tool for us in our work. As a team member, administrative tasks are part of the role, which means you should be able to document according to given guidelines and take responsibility for following up on tasks delegated by colleagues, unit managers, or professionals such as nurses, occupational therapists, or physiotherapists. Qualifications The role requires: Three-year upper secondary school care program or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent Good ability to express yourself in Swedish both orally and in writing Good knowledge and experience using computers and mobile devices in your work Swedish is the common working language at the workplace, so you need to be proficient in the language both orally and in writing, at the level required by the job tasks. Many of your tasks involve being able to receive instructions and communicate information in a correct and clear manner. You will collaborate and communicate with people from different language backgrounds and are expected to contribute your experience and expertise in a positive and constructive way. Meritorious Qualifications Experience working in healthcare and care Education and/or experience with dementia, palliative care, and geriatrics Experience working with delegated healthcare tasks Training in supervision and/or mentoring Class B driver's license Terms of Employment The positions are permanent full-time employment with the possibility of part-time work. The work involves shifts during day, evening, and weekends. Start date will be by mutual agreement. Selection and interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.
