Your Assignment
As a nurse in LSS and social psychiatry, you'll work primarily independently but also as part of a team of experienced colleagues. In addition to direct patient care involving assessments, examinations, information, and counseling, you'll play an important role in collaboration with staff at the respective residences. You'll also work closely with our health care assistants.
The municipality operates several small residential facilities within LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service) operations. There are 16 residences in the city center and 3 in surrounding areas. The facilities serve everyone from children to elderly individuals with disabilities. We also manage a residence specialized in social psychiatry.
The position is based on daytime hours with weekend duty every sixth week and a 37-hour work week. Documentation is done through LifeCare-HSL.
Your Experience
To be suitable for this position, we require that you:
- are a licensed nurse
- have experience from home healthcare or equivalent experience as assessed by the employer as equivalent
- have good computer skills
- possess a Class B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles
- are fluent in Swedish in speech and writing, with good reading comprehension
Meritorious if you have:
- previous experience working in LSS and social psychiatry

We'd like to see that you have good decision-making abilities and can structure and plan your work tasks. The work requires you to work independently with a focus on good patient safety. Collaboration and good conduct toward everyone you meet in the work is self-evident to you.
You're responsible for delegating, supervising, and supporting staff in healthcare tasks. We'd therefore particularly appreciate if you also have good supervisory skills.
