Would you like to work as a payroll specialist in a varied and responsible role where you combine payroll administration, reporting, and advisory work? We are now seeking an engaged and driven payroll specialist for our client in Stockholm. In this role, you will be an important part of the finance and HR team and will be responsible for the entire payroll process. The role offers excellent opportunities to influence working methods, improve routines, and participate in projects related to payroll and HR systems. About the Role As a payroll specialist, you are responsible for payroll preparation and payroll administration in accordance with applicable collective agreements and legislation. You handle the entire process from reporting of time and discrepancies to final payroll runs and reporting to authorities. You serve as a contact person internally with HR, finance, and operations, as well as externally with suppliers and authorities. The position combines operational work with continuous improvement efforts and participation in system and process projects. Examples of tasks: Ensure correct time reporting, absences, sick pay, benefits, and discrepancies. Handle monthly payroll runs including verification, reconciliations, and accounting documentation. Ensure correct reporting to the Swedish Tax Agency, Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and pension providers. Support managers and employees with payroll-related questions. Participate in improvement projects, system implementations, and development of routines and processes. Qualifications We are looking for someone with at least 3–4 years of experience in payroll administration in a similar role. You have solid knowledge of payroll and labor law, social contributions, and pension and insurance matters. Experience with multiple payroll systems (such as Hogia, Visma, Agda, or equivalent) is required, and experience with integrated HR and finance systems is a merit. You communicate well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have very good computer skills. Experience with collective agreement management, project work, and automation of payroll processes is a merit. Who Are You?
