Full-time Payroll Specialist with immediate start

Our partner is now seeking a payroll specialist with immediate start to cover during the summer and continue working in the department thereafter. About the roleYou will step in and support the regional function during the summer but also continue working in the team after that. You will have significant responsibility for payroll work and need to feel confident in independently driving the processes forward. We would prefer that you have previous experience with the AGDA system to facilitate your introduction. You will become part of the finance department in Gothenburg, where you also have colleagues in finance to consult with, but you will be largely responsible for payroll management independently. The role suits you if you have experience in payroll and want to develop further in a practical and responsible role. Your work tasks will include: Working with payroll management for company employees Handling personnel data, discrepancies, and information related to payroll Ensuring correct handling of absences, vacation, and compensation Preparing documentation and reports related to the payroll process Providing support with simpler finance-related tasks when needed We are looking for youWho has at least 2-3 years of work experience with payroll work, with additional merit if you also have experience in finance Who has relevant education in the payroll/finance area Who feels confident with basic payroll management and can work independently Who has good system knowledge and previous experience with the AGDA system (strong merit) Who has a structured and thorough work approach Who is responsible and enjoys a role where you get to take ownership To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to be unpretentious and flexible, with a desire to quickly get into the work tasks and workflow. Working with payroll requires accuracy and structure. At the same time, it is important that you are communicative and not afraid to ask questions or request support when needed. Being able to work independently while also collaborating closely with the finance department is the key to success. About the positionThis is a consulting assignment with employment at OIO for 6 months. The intention is that this transitions to permanent employment provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.
